A Family Story

Simon and his wife Elvan travel from Istanbul to Germany to celebrate the 100th birthday of Simon's mother Susanne. At the family reunion, Simon finds himself face to face with his family, especially his cousin Berthold and his cousin Alex, and families he hasn't seen in almost 30 years. For everyone, the encounter represents a return to the past and, at the same time, a new beginning.
