Hannes, a German boy, and Hatice, a Turkish girl, meet at the German school in Istanbul and quickly become friends. Hatice, as well as her parents, are keen to show Hannes, as a guest in Istanbul, the city in all its facets and to introduce him to Turkish life and culture. So, the two explore the city, encounter history, experience stories, and, of course, experience the delicious Turkish cuisine. They compare Berlin and Istanbul and discover that many things are similar, yet also very different.
